Call or message us. There's no referral or GP letter required — and if your injury is ACC-eligible, we'll handle the claim.

02

We come to you

Your physiotherapist arrives with everything needed for a full assessment and hands-on treatment — in the comfort of your own home.

03

Recover with a plan

You leave each session with a tailored recovery plan, exercise rehab and ongoing support built around your goals.

Our approach

We challenge the 15-minute, exercise-handout status quo.

The Mobile Physio began in 2017 with a vision: transform physiotherapy by delivering high-quality, convenient and personalised rehabilitation right where people live. Over 1,000 clients across 16 Auckland regions — and now Tauranga — later, that vision is still what drives us.

We build clinical relationships founded on trust and care, and we listen to each client's individual needs. With longer session times, we optimise every visit for thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise rehab and a recovery plan specific to your goals. Our mission is simple — accessible care for all New Zealanders.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required — you can book directly with us. We're ACC registered, so for eligible injuries we can lodge your claim at your first visit.

What does ACC cover — and what doesn't it?

ACC helps cover treatment for injuries such as sprains, fractures and workplace injuries. Wear-and-tear conditions, or pain without a clear injury cause, are generally not covered by ACC — but we can still treat you on a private-pay basis.

How long is a session?

Standard sessions run up to 60 minutes, with 45- and 30-minute options available. The longer time lets us combine thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise rehab and a tailored recovery plan in a single visit — no rushed, 15-minute consults.

Do I need any equipment at home?

No. Your physiotherapist brings the equipment needed for your treatment and works with the space you have — all in the comfort of your own home.

Can a family member or carer be involved?

Absolutely. We welcome family members and carers in your sessions — it helps build a shared understanding of your goals and how best to support your recovery between visits.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover the Hibiscus Coast, North Shore and Auckland Central, plus Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa. A travel surcharge may apply outside our listed service areas — just ask when you book.
